Welcome to Heart of Texas Corvette Club!

Heart of Texas Corvette Club (HOTCC) is a non-profit social club, headquartered at Don Ringler Chevrolet in Temple, Texas. HOTCC is a social and service club for persons having a common interest in the appreciation, construction, and operation of Chevrolet Corvettes. HOTCC promotes fellowship among Corvette enthusiasts through the dissemination of technical and practical information, business meetings, and social activities. HOTCC promotes community involvement through charitable activities. HOTCC hosts social activities, rallies, tours, and charity events.


HOTCC Meetings

Heart of Texas Corvette Club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:15 p.m. at Don Ringler Chevrolet, 7777 S General Bruce Dr, Temple, TX 76502.  The meetings usually last about an hour. If you are interested in joining or just want to find out more about the club, we invite you to attend the next meeting.

Heart of Texas Corvette Club hosted its second car show on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Confederate Park in Belton.  The day included over 100 awesome entries, great music, delicious food, and fun.  Many items were offered in a silent auction as well as a 50/50 drawing for a cash prize. Thanks to all participants and special thanks to our sponsors - Don Ringler Chevrolet, Ron and Pam Grimwood, Temple Iron and Metal Co., McLane Company, Tim and Leslie Milliken,  Overspend Custom & Collision, and McGuire Tire. 

The entry form for registering to participate in our car show is posted to the left side of this web page. You may print it, fill it out, and mail it along with your entry fee to the address shown on the entry form.  Additionally, we are working to modify this website to allow for an easy electronic submission of your entry form and with an ability to make payment on-line using PayPal if you choose not to mail them. 

To Members of our Club: NOW is the time to start thinking about HOW you plan to volunteer for the planning and execution of this year's car show. We will need help to include but not limited to: pre-registration, registration, parking, judging, score tabulation, 50/50 drawings, silent auction, awards presentations, and photography. Don't wait to be asked. Volunteer now. Let Susan Zoch know how you will contribute your time and talents into making this year's show another great success.

Upcoming Events

DINNER AT THE "FRENCH QUARTER",  Friday, March 6, 2015, located at 2001 North 3d Street, Temple. Attendees will meet at the restaurant. The burgers there are great!

WHATACOFFEE & CARS, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at The Temple Whataburger on S. 31st St & Loop 363,  beginning at 8:00 a.m., weather permitting. Come out, have some breakfast and coffee,  visit with fellow car owners and spectators, and show off your ride.
ROAD TRIP TO ROUNDTOP, Sunday, March 8, 2015 Susan Zoch has sent an Email giving the details. Departure from the parking lot of Tractor Supply, located at 22515 Southeast H.K. Dodgen Loop will be at 10:30 a.m. The drive will be scenic. Bring your cameras.

"ROD HOP CRUISE", Friday, March 20, 2015, at the Belton, TX Courthouse Square. This event makes its first appearance for the year. Participants park their cars around the square, placing them on display beginning around 5:30 p.m. Bring your ride to display  it or just come down to admire the other cars on display. Typically, members of the club will retire to one of the nearby restaurants for a meal and conversation.

"DYNO DAY" IN SAN ANTONIO, TX,  Saturday,March 28, 2015. An Email regarding this
event has already been sent out. Anyone interested may contact club member Stevie Ray Walker for more information.

Tuesday, April 7, 2015, 6:15 p.m. at Don Ringler Chevrolet, 7777 S. I-35 at Exit 294 B, Temple, TX    One important item on the agenda will be to vote to approve the newly modified by-laws.

Not a Member?? We invite you to attend this meeting to find out what our club is all about. The meeting usually lasts 45 minutes.  Following the conclusion of the meeting, many members retire to a nearby restaurant for a meal and conversation.

"A SECOND SALUTE TO OUR VETERANS", Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the VA Hospital Parking Lot, Temple, TX. This is a second effort to honor our veterans, especially those who are disabled, by conducting a DISPLAY  of vehicles for them and the public. This is a display only. There is no contest nor will any trophies be awarded. All the details can be found on the "flyer" depicted to the left side of this web page. Plan on bringing your ride to this display in honor of our veterans.
